Ground nearer the River Kelvin and the marshy land either side of Kilsyth can stay wet for a while after rain, so we check ground conditions before bringing a grinder onto site.

We grind below ground level so the area can be reseeded or planted over, whether that's a stump on the hillside side of town or in one of the newer estate gardens.

A stump rarely causes trouble until it's blocking the mower, a planting bed or general use of the garden. Grinding brings it down below ground level, avoiding the bigger job of excavating the entire root system.
